Because we can and Oiler and Canuck fans are just as bad. Watch this, who's in first in the Northwest right now? Oh thats right ... the Flames. Tomorrow it will be Canucks and they'll be razzing us. Sorry Edmonton, not looking good.

It's probably because Calgary has a great group of talented forwards and defensemen like Phaneuf and Iginla and out of the three other teams, Ryan Smyth and Mats Sundin are the only players with any talent. Basically, all of the other teams SUCK!!!

I know some flames fans, and I'll say this about the fans as well as Calgary citizens in general. They're all stuck-up, whiney, sore-losers that hate when things won't go their way.

Same reason every other hockey team's fans make fun of other teams. Leaf fans make fun of Ottawa and Montreal. Ottawa makes fun of the Leafs. Just trash talking....

Everyone does it in every sport. It's what makes rivalries and watching so much fun.
As long as you don't take it too serious and don't let it get personal. It's just a game and all the trash talk is just done in good fun.
