I'm not trying to start a debate, I've just wondered about this for quite a while. I know the KKK hates Jews but why? I can understand the hate from the KKK regarding other races (I understand it, I do NOT condone it, they hate me too!) but most Jews are white. What is their supposed justification for hating them if they are white as well? If they're God's chosen people, wouldn't they be held in high regard? In other words, is there a concrete reason that they expericence such hate & persecution aside from the standard "they control all the money" answer. I don't think that is true and the real reason. Is there a certain event that brought this hate about?

Again, I'm not trying to be offensive. I've just always wondered about this and never really found any answers. I think racism & bigotry is disgusting. I've been on the receiving end myself so this question isn't aimed to start any more than is already out there.

I remember seeing this on a channel like turner classic movies, or america movie classics, and I think it might even be in black and white. I only remember bits and pieces. It was a comedy.

Anyways, a young-ish woman marries an older guy, and if I'm remembering correctly, he leaves soon after they get married, hoping she'll go away or something like that, but she stays around the house the entire time he's gone waiting for him to come back.

When he comes back, she's eating weird combinations of food, like strawberries and pickles or something like that, so he thinks she's pregnant.

Anyways, that's all I remember, if anyone could help me out, that'd be great! :)

I think I know SOME of what to do, but I am entering a blues guitar playing contest and one of the judging criteria is "stage presence", which is a very abstract quality if you think about it. I'm interested in how others define it, or what they think it is, or how to improve it, etc. This could include many different aspects of performance, so I'm interested in hearing ANY suggestions, no matter how odd they might seem to somebody else. Thanks to all who answer! BTW: I am an experienced performer, but I really want to see this put into words because the concept really is VERY abstract and I want to do my absolute best EVERY time - thanks again!!!

HI, I'm going on a trip to vegas for my b-day in october, and I need to lose about 60 pounds by then. I know 60 pounds is a lot, so I'd be fine with losing 50. I need help with this word problem, that I cannot figure out how to solve. Here it is:
Each side of a tent forms a right angle with the ground. The tops of 2 ropes are attached to each side of the tent 8 ft above the ground. The other ends of the 2 ropes are attached to stakes on the ground. If the rope is 12 ft long, what angle does it make with the level ground? And what is the distance between the botton of the tent and each stake?

Doctors are talking about salivary gland cancer in my husband,I looked it up on the internet and I am devasted. I cant bear the thought of my husbands face being disfigured..or his not being able to eat properly nor to lead the life he has been used to. nor his life expectancy. People who say "rap sux its all about degrading women" etc is the laughing stock of my life. There are two sad parts to that
1. people who say that are always rock fans who go through the roof when someone says "rock is all about drugs, suicide and satan
2. Its only the garbage on the friggin radio that talks about that rubbish

Old School rap had lyrics 10 times deeper than any rock.

It was a very complicated situation. he was in a building and I shot him through a window because I thought he was an insurgent. I confessed this to my team commander but he said that I better keep my mouth shut if I want to stay out of jail. Now I feel unexplainable guilt because he left behind a wife and two kids. I can barely sleep. But on the other hand I don't want to go to jail either because I am married with kids too. What should I do?
