When my brother was younger (10-12) my Dad wrapped up a plank of wood for him for Christmas. It wasn't until he had started crying and getting upset about it that my Dad bought in the cutiest little puppy dog ever and said Merry Christmas son.

my wife tonja likes to do that. i get a blank page of paper then the real gift.

lt did it to my husband years ago. l wrapped a pair of flip-flops and placed it under the X-mas tree. The other people in the house ruined the surprising moment because they peeked into the gifts and the wrapper was not properly put back in place.
Why can't people leave gifts alone that isn't for them?
My real gift was an expensive leather wallet.

One time i got a gift from my cousin and when i opened it it was a cereal box. I was like why did he give me cereal. Then when i opened it there was a jersey inside.
