what do you get a guy for valentines, i've looked everywhere i can think of and i cant find anything that isnt tacky.
Anyone got ideas what sort of gift to get a guy.
I dont want any sexual ideas or things like that i want sensible gift ideas ONLY

Is this something you are born with or can you develop it over time? I want to know what art lovers are actually thrilled by. What seperates Picasso from Monet and if I get some art work commissioned, how am I supposed to estimate it's value and pay the artist?

it's said that Jesus was born and then he created earth. but how come he was born in bethlehem, jerusalem? i thought jerusalem is in earth right? there were evidence about his living there right?
so where did He live? in earth? or .. heaven? or ..?
and they said that adam and eve are the first human right? so Jesus is not human? ( i mean before He died) or Jesus lived after adam and eve were created?
im just a bit confuse about this..

i accidentally hit the curb while driving, and now my wheel is slightly lopsided. not majorly, you can barely see it, but the ride is extremely bumpy. its an old borbet c type rim, and they dont sell them anymore. and ideas as to where i could find a new one?

There are lakhs of VRS retired people in India, who are educated, talented. In view of their age being above 50 much opportunities are not there. Are there any opportunity to further study, work, be productive and useful to the self,family, country , humanity. The employment for these people should not hinder the opportunities of younger generation. Social work opportuniites too can be a good option.

I am 43 and my GF is 15, When I stay over at her house her mama acts very cold and hostile to me. MY GF is white and so is her mama. Do you think her mama is rascist ? My best friend used to be addictied to meth and the lifestyle. 3 years ago her then fiance told her it was drugs or him. She left her old friends behind and we quickly became friends. About a 1-1/2 ago she came down with a chronic pain ailment, about 6 mnths ago one of her old newly 'reformed' friends came back into her life. Since then my best friend has began smoking marijuana constantly and has recently started selling her prescriptions and abusing xanax, she has also snorted coke on serveral occasions, she is trying to hide it from me and has even more recently started lying to me about what she is doing. She'll tell me she's not home when i can plainly see her car in her driveway and her house lights on. She won't even talk to me anymore. its been at least 4 days since she has contacted me. Today she sent a txt message to my boyfriend asking if we still had something i borrowed a month ago, i can't stand the way she is treating me and I dont know what to do... suggestions please!

Ok, I'm 23, not high school stuff here don't worry.

So, is it just me, or do you find yourselves getting into situations where you KNOW there is not positive outcome? Like having a crush on someone already in a relationship, falling for someone that lives too far away to have a real relationship, stuff like that. ie, do you put yourselves, like I do, into relationship positions that you know could never actually work out? Maybe a defence mechanism, keep ourselves from being hurt?

Is it true that a civil union does not confer the same legal rights as a marriage in the Untied States? It seems that in the Gay and Lesbian area, when I asked why they wanted marriage, it was not anything to do with church recognition, but rather having the same rights as legally recognised marriages.

For instance, not being recognised as family or a spouse in the event of an emergency in a hospital room, etc. Having a child taken away from the second non-biological parent should the biological parent die, etc...

I'm sure they would not worry about obtaining 'the definition of marriage', if a 'civil union' actually conferred all of these rights upon them. Do you think this would allow both sides of this issue to protect what is really important to them?
