do you think its fair that students in schools have to stand up for the national anthem?I live in arizona and i go to a public middle school. Im mexican and the school that i go to is mostly mexicans or latinos. If students dont like some of the laws the government makes why do we have to listen to them? I was watching this guy that didnt want to stand up for the natinal anthem because of what he believes. In my school we have to stand up for it. Can students do the same thing that guy did? Most of my classmates dont think its fair mexicans are being arrested for crossing the border to have a better life. I also believe that WE mexicans shouldnt be arrested just for trying to get a better life. So my question is this...... Is it alright for us not to stand up for the national anthem? Dont we have freedom of speech? We should stand up for what WE believe not for something the government wants us to believe.

I got fired from (worked there for a year and a half) the daycare that my daughter (she's almost 2) attends. I work there and go to college. They said the primary reason for the termination is " Your daughter loves you to much" and they also threw in there that I have missed a few day of work but didnt emphasize it (I had excused documented reasons i.e. funerals, being sick etc). After thinking it over I went back to work later that day to get some answers and make some points in a tactful manner. They basically told me the primary reason was that when I was at the daycare my daughter was too needy during the hours that I worked there and good when I didnt work there. Although, she was needy I made sure to take care of the other kids as much as I take care of her. Other than that reason, they said I did a good job but they never gave me any prior indication that they didnt like something. Is this a legal/valid reason for being fired?

I'm tired of this. Every winter and well into spring (even begining of summer), I get shocked on metals all around me. Mail box, car door, house doorknob, the edge of entryways where the paint is peeling off (some of them have a metal liner), the heater in my room......e-v-e-r-y sin-gle metal thing you can think of. Now it's starting to hurt because it happens so often. I need to know what to do to keep that from happening. Wearing gloves doesn't help (yes it goes through them and worst is you can hear it when it happens. It's not a light shock anymore).

Please if you have a way to keep that from happening let me in on it. PLEEEEEEAASE!!!!!!!!!!

Cultural issues aside do you think that most people actually prefer dating within their own race and culture rather than somebody of a different race but still same culture? For example, Abe and Bob are friends. Bob enjoys Abes company and vice versa, whos to say they are really friends and not just using eachother for their own entertainment. I would say there is no difference accept for the negative connotation of the latter. Also, would taking advantage of someone be different from accepting what they offer to you in assistance? I've been having problems with Blockbuster Online's website, more specifically the manage my queue page. On Mozilla Firefox and Safari it says Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.blockbuster.com/online/queuemgmt/displayMyQueue" on this server.
