The strong young man at the construction site was bragging that he could outdo anyone in a feat of strength. He made a special case of making fun of one of the older workmen. After several minutes, the older worker had had enough.

"Why don't you put your money where your mouth is," he said. "I will bet a week's wages that I can haul something in a wheelbarrow over to that outbuilding that you won't be able to wheel back."

I already have a satellite receiver, a DVD player, a VHS player and a stereo connected to the television. I know all about lumens and bulb life and screen size and all of the basics. I just bought a projector and a large 80" screen. All I want are some step-by-step instructions to know which cable connects to which unit so that I can end up watching TV on my large screen or on the wall.

I am new at this gym and I saw this girl working out by herself, and I was just like " hi, I'm ( insert name here ) I am new to this gym and sometimes I think it is better to work out with a partner, so you have someone that can push you ya know?" She was like yeah I am the sameway.

Then I said ok well if you want to workout with someone or need a spotter or something just let me know....and I left it on her to kind of make the next move.

Was that the right thing to do or should I have kept talking to her since she agreed with me on the whole not liking to workout alone thing??

and now i want the bleached part back. I only bleached the ends and some parts in my bangs.I dyed my hair a dark brown and now its turning to a medium-ish brown. I used the Hair dye with no amonia so i heard it should be easy to get out. Any ideas on getting the hair dye out faster?

My mother seems very jealous of me. I dont know how to deal with her. When she asks me about my day and I tell her the good things she starts being negative. She is also very critical and talks bad about her best friend all the time. Do people like this change? She will always say things to bring me down but i have friends i talk to who lift me up. She seems to always compare herself to me. We really do not have a lot to talk about since we have nothing in common. All she wants to do is gossip and i find gossip so boring and i'd rather not talk at all. How do you deal with a mother like that?

I had Ares earlier so I am quite familiar with this program. I am trying to play mp3 files and i don't think i need to install divx as some friends suggested me since i have combined communiy codecs package which can open literally anything. I'm wondering if this is normal or not. I am extremely worried about what people think, both friends and strangers, and feel like I constantly embarrass myself with the things I say and do. We're not talking BAD-embarrasing things but just silly-embarrasing. Afterwards (sometime for several days or more) I will berate myself and feel horribly ashamed for whatever foolish thing I said or did. Is there some way to overcome this? It is a major source of stress in my life.
