or nautical starS? What does that star mean? What if they have tattoos of swallows? I think that is what those birds are called. Usually they get them about the shoulders, but i see the stars around the arms usually. i want to get some stars, but i dont want to if they mean something specific. thanks!

is what is left over from the flood. Sattelite images
of some type of ship mostly burried under snow
have been seen on mt. arafat. Now One can understand how Noah got one of each kind of
animal on the ark. Every human being lived in
the area which is now the black sea. The rest of
the world had not been discovered and the rest
of animal life lived there undesturbed by humankind.

A police car traveling a constant 93.0km/hr (25.83 m/s), is passed by a speeder traveling 142km/hr (39.44 m/s). Precisely 1.22s after the speeder passes, the policeman steps on the accelerator. If the police car's acceleration is 1.87m/s2, how much time elapses after the police car is passed until it overtakes the speeder (assumed moving at constant speed)?


The police needs to reach the same speed as the other car, so the final velocity is 39.44 m/s. The initial velocity is 25.83 m/s. Acceleration is 1.87 m/s^2 and the time which we are looking for would be +1.22 seconds because that's how long he took to react. So I plugged it into Vf = Vi + a(t+1.22) which for me turned out to be 8.50 s. I even tried subtracting the time t-1.22s and still got the problem wrong. Any hints?

ok, so i've been saving to go on this trip with my girlfriend and her family to europe this summer. and i couldnt afford to take the whole trip, so i was going to meet up with them for a couple of weeks.

I told my parents i finally had the money all saved up (we've been plaining this since september.) and tonight they decided they didnt want me to go!!

I really dont want to have to say goodbye for three months, let alone spend my entire summer without her.

and for all of you adults saying psh, thats nothing...when you're 17 years old, when you're 17 and your girlfriend says she's leaving for three months, she might as well tell you shes dying.

and please dont suggest that i break up with her (we've been dating a year, and things are perfect, its just not an option)

I have a week old baby boy and I am feeding him breast milk from the bottle {the delivery was really hard, he was born with apgar score 0 and I didn't get to see him for a while, so since we didn't start nursing right away and he wasn't completely healthy, he just couldn't suck and wasn't getting enought, so I started pumping my milk - works for us much better}, but he eats sooo much now - he would eat over 3 oz every three hours. Isn't it too much for a newborn? I am just curious how big can be stomach of such a tiny person... {he was 7 lb and 19 inches when born}

i need help desiding on a good light weight stoller for my newborn, who isint here yet. im almost 6 feet tall and i am having a girl. looks arent as important to me as is saftey. i have been through the fda recall lists alot and have saw many greco products recalled. i dont know much about their items but i do know that i am having trouble picking a safe and beautiful stroller. i already have a car seat so i dont need that. but something lightweight and tall enough for me would be great....thanks

It sounds very similar to the I Dream of Jeannie theme song. It's sung by a girl with a really soft voice, kind of similar to the Cardigans' lead singer. It was popular probably in the early 90's.

The girl is just humming do do do do do.

My brake light has been coming on and going off all week long. I started my car this evening to go home. When I stopped at a sign, I had to depress my brake all the way to the floor board before it even began to slow down. There has also been a strange sound for a few weeks when my car stops that sounds like something grinding. I have fairly new brakes and roders. What is the problem? Also, what else can I look forward to going wrong?

i was walking by Galleria mall in Henderson, NV. i saw like bunch of white people protesting against black history month, they were not happy with the fact that we should celebrate Black History month. Were they being racist? they also post on website on internet where they said, white speices is in danger something like that ...... if you think about it we celebrate white history all year long, president day, 4th of july etc.what do you think about this situation?

Do the parents of gang-killed kids love their own less than the parents of soldiers?

U.S. Teen deaths-by-gangs are twice those in Iraq. Most gang-members are born of illegal aliens.

If we value human life, we will vote in '08 for non-fossil fuel AT ALL COST, to stop aliens (gangs) next, and then to stop infant deaths. Then, make cars safer. Then there’d BE no war in Iraq. Oil countries’d just become poor & kill each other off.

There's a presumption that things are being hidden from JW members, but what is the gain from it? Most Christian leaders/experts don't do anything unless they gain, financially, and/or in the "long term" holding a position of power over others.

There’s no such JW positions. No one gets elected, paid, receive a home/car, and their positions are temporary. Every baptized witness, even a window washer, can be an Elder, a Congregation Overseer, a Circuit/District Servant, or Servant on the Society Governing Board. None are permanent/guaranteed positions, and sitting on the Governing Board is temporary, with a 2-bedroom apartment, and no pay. Nobody calls you Father, Pastor, Rabbi, or term other than Brother/Sister. With a several Kingdom Halls built a day, each holding 1-4 congregations of 200 publishers each, with their own elders, anyone can become a servant, and if they do, they will work hard with no reward. At least now until after Armageddon.
