i need help desiding on a good light weight stoller for my newborn, who isint here yet. im almost 6 feet tall and i am having a girl. looks arent as important to me as is saftey. i have been through the fda recall lists alot and have saw many greco products recalled. i dont know much about their items but i do know that i am having trouble picking a safe and beautiful stroller. i already have a car seat so i dont need that. but something lightweight and tall enough for me would be great....thanks

I have a Safety 1st stroller/carseat combo.... I didn't like it for myself (5'5''), but we got it for my spouse who is 6'4''. It is much more suited to taller people. They also make the Eddie Bauer version. They are available at Walmart.

The lightweight stroller tend to be very short in the handles... it might be worth it for you to spend a little extra, so that you have less back strain!!

I'm 5'8" and about the only one I've used that I havent had to stoop with is the evenflo aura...dont even bother with an umbrealla stroller, you'll kill your back right from the moment you open it. I bought mine as a display model at walmart....if you dont need the carseat for it that may be the way to go since then youre getting a discount on it and if you do have to get the included carseat you can just donate it to charity or sell it at a consignment shop. Or if youre in tn I can sell you mine....I moved to idaho had no room to take it so its still sitting at a family members there collecting dust. I fell in love with the safari trek patern.

A lot of the Peg Perego strollers have adjustable height handles. But if you find a stroller w/o an adjustable handle go to www.strollerhandle.com they sell a stroller handle extender.

I was going to suggest Peg Perego when I saw your additional details. I'm also 5'8" and I loved my Perego stroller! Still have it and my kids are 6 and 3. I would stick to that brand. They're well-designed, comfy and last a long time.... :)

i love love love Maclaren Strollers and they say that when the infant is 3 months previous that they are good to apply them. I used my double Maclaren even as my son change into 3 months previous and he change into really effective, merely try now to not hit too many not ordinary bumps.
