There's a presumption that things are being hidden from JW members, but what is the gain from it? Most Christian leaders/experts don't do anything unless they gain, financially, and/or in the "long term" holding a position of power over others.

There’s no such JW positions. No one gets elected, paid, receive a home/car, and their positions are temporary. Every baptized witness, even a window washer, can be an Elder, a Congregation Overseer, a Circuit/District Servant, or Servant on the Society Governing Board. None are permanent/guaranteed positions, and sitting on the Governing Board is temporary, with a 2-bedroom apartment, and no pay. Nobody calls you Father, Pastor, Rabbi, or term other than Brother/Sister. With a several Kingdom Halls built a day, each holding 1-4 congregations of 200 publishers each, with their own elders, anyone can become a servant, and if they do, they will work hard with no reward. At least now until after Armageddon.

The majority of Christians don't do anything unless there is a gain now, not later. They don’t like giving up anything that would make life any less fun. Witnesses don’t do anything for the now, except teach. So, what is the gain to hide anything? With their growth. In a very short time, the person you’re trying to hide it from will be holding your position.

We don't have false doctrines. And yes, we are the true religion. We are the only ones who don't believe in life after death, in trinity. The pagans had these teachings and some so called Christians have them today. I guess that's why people hate us so much. Jesus said that his true disciples will be hated by the world.

Jehovah's Witnesses have the true religion. They are Christian (of course), but they are unique for their rejection of paganisms, use of God's personal name, and global preaching by every active adherent. No other religious organization can claim such purity of worship.

These facts about Jehovah's Witnesses are perhaps relevant to this question. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.

1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.

2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.

3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.

4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.

5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.

6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.

That sounds just the the Mormon faith. There is no pay or perks for church positions and anyone is able to hold a church position. I think that when a church/religion is run that way, it is ran better. The chuch officials will do what is best for the congregation and not for themselves.

I don't agree with your statement that most Christians are 'only in it for gain'.There are plenty of Christians who are perfectly willing to give up whatever they need to to spread the Gospel.
As well as that,I am not sure what specific denominations you are talking about. In my denomination, any baptized member is able to hold a position in church.Any of the elders or deacons are allowed to have their position rescinded, even if it's because the members have no confidence in him.
My pastor doesn't get a house,or a car,and he has a day job (that pays a pittance) to have enough money to partially fund outreach programs.
I'm not going to comment too much on JW theology, but suffice to say, most Christian denominations in general don't consider JW's to be Christians.

I'm surprised a Christian or anyone familiar with the Bible would ask this question. Whether the JW organization is deceiving people through false doctrine intentionally or not, Satan GAINS satisfaction by using others to spread false teaching, which will eventually weaken Faith. That's the sole reason Satan is on this earth.

It has nothing to do with JW elders, ministerial servants, overseers, or any HUMAN. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

1 Timothy 4:1 - in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to DECEIVING SPIRITS and doctrines of demons.

One of the ways Satan deceives people is by leading them to lean upon their own understanding and human interpretation of God's Word. Most importantly, he causes them to focus on material things such as financial gain, public recognition, and other earthly distractions you've mentioned, to justify or explain that they are not teaching False Doctrine.

One thing is certain...If a False Prophet never receives ONE CENT from spreading False Teachings, he is still a useful tool to Satan and brings him satisfaction by spreading deception. In fact, a False Teacher who does not receive a large monetary gain like many prosperity teachers, is more dangerous, because it gives the "illusion" they are genuine Children of God.

I don't know. Why did the translators of the New World Translation choose to remain anonymous? All other translations in the history of Christianity are pretty open about who worked on them and under what methods. We know the Greek in the NWT is suspect. Is that why?

I'll put it this way... Presbytarians don't come to my door and try to convert me. And all I'm hiding is the fact that I'm home.

You certainly know alot about witnesses. You did omit that they are a cult. Being that you are taught that you do what you are told and don't ask questions.
