It never fails, when I become involved with someone new, things just move too fast. We spend way too much time talking to each other on the phone or through email and then suddenly the "casual dating" turns into a relationship. This hasn't been working for me lately and usually ends in heartbreak for me or the other person. I want to just date around and get to know several different guys at a time, like real old fashioned dating where you go to dinner or a movie and then slowly decide if I want an actual relationship. Then if I decide I'm not interested or vis versa it doesn't become a huge messy problem, no one's feelings are hurt and I can move on and get to know new guys. Am I the only one with this problem? Basically, I'm in my 20's and I want to get to know as many guys as I can to increase my chances of finding the right one instead of getting stuck in dead end relationships. I want to avoid "putting all my eggs in one basket" so to speak. Any advice?

I'm a senior in high school and only have a couple good friends, but I could have a lot more if I hung out with the other kids like I have been lately and drank at parties they go to on weekends. I've heard many people say "just go to the party but don't drink" now I'm not sure if you have been in a position like I am in but do you know how hard it is to not feel left out when you see every single person at the party with a beer in their hand drinking? I always feel left out when I don't drink. I know in my heart that it is wrong and I would disappoint a lot of people if I got caught because my parents know I have more common sense then that. I haven't drank at all yet, but I really don't feel like I fit in. I want to be friends with these guys because I see them everyday at school. I know I shouldn't give a rat's *** about what they think of me, but it's really hard not to. Another thing that scares me is that they drive from these parties buzzed and/or drunk with me in the car Help!

I am unclear on the gay marriage debate.

Is it that gays want to be married in/recognised by the church? Do they just want the same rights conferred by government upon straight marriages? Is it just the word marriage?

I am all in favor of letting gay people get married and have the same rights as straights and let them call it marriage if they like, but why can't religious organisations decide for themselves?

i got this Nero 6 software with the purchase of a Samsung DVD burner, i tried to burn rm format anime to DVD, but nero wont allow me to add the files, says can not insert the file

Ok.. I have this guy-friend who, for a while, i really liked. and he liked me and it was all good. we would flirt and everything but we never went out.. after a while we grew apart. I wasn't as interested because he wouldn't get closer to me (not in the literal form).. we began to sort of avoid eachother. now, a while back, he apoligized for ignoring me and i apoligized. i'm not so sure i want to try to get closer to him, yet, but i think he wants to get to know me. i really like him, and he's really sweet, i just don't want to just go for it, you know? advice??
