I have a CD-R which, somehow, had a small amount of the surface scratched off of the front side. The disc will now no longer load, so I can't retrieve the files.

Is there anything I can do to "fix" the disc long enough to get the files off it and burn them to a new CD-R? Metallic pen "painting" over the damage? Gluing a small piece of aluminum to the disc? Putting a sticker over the damaged area?

Purchased a few gifts for my children at X-mas. Of course they opened them and through away the packaging and didn't try and use them till recently. Question is: Can they still be returned with a receipt but without the original packaging?

I dont think that dominating means knowing your other teams plays and tricks. it would be called cheating if it would be poker or any other type of game. its a game thats meant to show who is the best of the best for that year. knowing your other teams plays, and tricks is cheating. they couldnt won against the raiders if they wouldnt have known about the pump fake, gannon made during that year. i know you should study the team you are playing but not cheat your way to victory. if you were to know all the answers for a test in school that another teacher gave to you, it would too be called cheating.

My (newly-ex) boyfriend has been extensively using porn sites - since long before we were together. He told me he had stopped using them since "falling in love with me" (yeah, right!), but I've found it's a lie. I don't mind so much that he wants to view the images (although it's not a pleasant thought - aren't I good enough?), but why on earth does he lie so much, even when I can clearly see what he's been doing? The problem is: if he's lying about this, I think he's trying to hide more sinister stuff and I simply can't feel I trust him.

Something very important is going on here. Sure it starts with my tax case but let's look at the big picture here. I am providing a place for us to make a difference, for the people, for this country!

I even offered to pay the taxes just so they would leave me alone, but no,... They took my guns (before ever being convicted of anything). They took my wife and court ordered her away from me. They now want much more money then they say I owe. They want my house.
