It was a film starring Carol White andTerance Stamp with music by Donovan.
It was one of the first videos I bought, lent it to someone and never got it back.
'Cathy come home' was a tv programme along similar lines, also directed by loach.
I saw the dvd in a shop the other day.

Made for TV I think. It may have been on the big screen in those art house cinemas though.
