My (newly-ex) boyfriend has been extensively using porn sites - since long before we were together. He told me he had stopped using them since "falling in love with me" (yeah, right!), but I've found it's a lie. I don't mind so much that he wants to view the images (although it's not a pleasant thought - aren't I good enough?), but why on earth does he lie so much, even when I can clearly see what he's been doing? The problem is: if he's lying about this, I think he's trying to hide more sinister stuff and I simply can't feel I trust him.

Very well put! You need to realise that him watching porn had nothing to do with how attractive you are nor how he feels about you. I don't understand why so many women have such a problem with porn anyway. OK, if you don't like it, don't watch it but don't try to tell other women that they are dirty or weird if they choose to watch it.

The only way for you to 'find out' about him looking at porn on the net would be for you to search through the history on his PC and let's face it, that is pretty intrusive. He lies because he knows you don't like it. Give him a break and let him watch porn if he wants to. If you can't do this, send him round to mine and I will watch some with him till the cows come home!!

Your boyfriend is almost definitely still attracted to you but I'm quite certain that all men weather they are single or in a relationship look at porn from time to time. The reason that he probably doesn't want you to know about it is because he knows that you don't like it.The same thing happened with me and my girlfriend. Then we talked about it and then we both bought some porn together. If you and your boyfriend do the same it probably wont stop him watching it alone from time to time but at least it wont be a secret.

i think the main reason that men lie about using porn is the fact that a lot of women for some reason feel insulted by the fact that their partners like it.So they would rather hide the fact than argue about it or make their partners feel bad.I personally feel that you should be able to be open about things and if more women would accept that some men just enjoy porn women would be far happier if you don't like it tell him that you don't mind him watching it but do it while your out.just remember men are like naughty boys! the more you tell them not to do something it seems to deepen the need for them to do just that. so if you are open about how you feel without condemning them for liking something then everyone is happy.no need for lying then is there.

Because they fear their spouse might not party to it and above that might not like it either. Spend some time with your buddy with porn surfing he might stop it or atleast might stop lieing.
