since this is breaking a commandment, and taking his name in vain literally means calling upon him for something which he will not do, shouldn't we quit praying to him altogether? Even if you believe that some prayers are answered, you never know if one will be or not, so why take chances? Isn't this a commandment only God himself can make you violate? If you say "God damn it," and God does indeed damn what you referred to, then you're not taking his name in vain, right?
