PRECAUTION : As a precaution for those using filesharing, the best is to use the filtering software that usually come's with it. Don't allow file extensions .exe, vmb dont allow anything with the exception of mp3, wav, mov, mpeg etc, Also whatever folder you down to open that folder right click and select "view" then detail's.
After downloading,always check the file type and make sure its an audio or video format. not a file or application. while this isnt a 100% foolproof it knocks down the chance of getting a virus considerably.

You are not supposed to download full length mp3 without paying. But, a lot of people use torrent programs and get stuff through peer to peer file sharing, which is not legal. One of the most popular sites is torrentspy, and you would need a program like azureus to download files.

Do a web search on "LimeWire" its a free download program to download music others have posted to the web. You get reminders to switch to the full version but you don't have to. Be sure to listen to the song before you burn it to a cd because the whole song may not have been uploaded. After I download a song I have to import it to Windows media player in order to burn it. Check it out, hope its what you need!

i wanted to say when you find a program to download free music, make sure you have a very good up-to-date antivirus program. P2P programs may have viruses and bugs. Scan each file before and after you download it for safety. Just about every P2P program can give you a virus if you aren't careful.
