I'm an American living in Canada at the moment, and I've noticed some Canadians believe their country is weird. This is something I wouldn't have expected before I left the United States. Do some Canadians believe this because Canada has a hard time defining itself culturally?

i already forgave her for cuckolding me, but her friend (the father of the child in her womb) keeps on visiting her at our house. i must admit it's maddening for me to see them holding each other as though they're very comfortable with doing such. i am beginning to get jealous again. Just a thought on what she's told me today... that 'only the child's real father should make love to the mother'. Is it possible he's making love to her & she's allowing it coz he's the real father of the baby in her womb? OMG! These suspicion really torments me to death! What must i do? I love my wife, & i wanna keep our marriage & put it back on the track. Shall i confront her friend (& now, God forbid, lover?)? He's a bully in our neighborhood, & i'm frankly a bit afraid of him. i don;t want violence at all. What could i do? Please help me.

You can work with someone for 20 years. You spent more time with this person than you have with your actual family. Why is it when they quit working with us we are able to accept it and move on so easily knowing we will probably never see them again? To me this demonstrates that we are the governors of our attachments and this basically means that when we have our hearts broken we were accessories to the crime.

we were dating for over 2 years.
we were echothers first loves
we decided tot ake a break last wed to focus on ourselves and school for a while. (we are both sophmores in college)
he has alot of hard classes and works over 40 hours a week
he sat at my work sunday nigth for 2 1/2 hours doing nothing and told me when i got off of work that everythign is over
he keeps apologizing for doing this to me
he said he felt liek he HAD to love me and couldnt leave me cause he was afraid id h urt myself or drop out of class
but then again he says he does love me but wants to "stop cause we arent dating anymore" i told him that thats impossible. since we are eachother first love
we talked abotu marriage
he sounds confused abotu us right now
i know to give him his space
while on this break he called me alot but i didnt answer cause he is the one that wanted tot alk on sunday nights only but he called me 2 times each day till sunday....
he says its over for now and maybe we'll get back together.

If someone tells you "You're easy to pick on"....what do you think they mean by tha

One of my bosses was picking on me , and I said "Why you always pick on me, is it because I'm nice then he told me it's because "you're easy to pick on", what does he mean?.........I should've asked him, but it's too late now. I'll probably see him in three months or so.

ok, so we have the chance to escape the kids for the weekend, so instead of celebrating on v-day were doing it this weekend, any ideas? i wanted to find a nice hotel with a big bathtub but seems that really expensive. either way we get an over nighter so i plan on be gone from my home for the weekend. I want to:
Have a 1 year diploma for cooking
1 year diploma for hairstyling
diploma for bartending
diploma for computer animation

I really love these careers and choosing one is not an option for me, obviously I'll go to college and take them one at a time.
I really want to run my own buisness.
What are some combinations of these jobs I could do to run my own buisness?

oh... and also I do writting on the side (not as a career, but I am a published author)

(i.e. restaurant with a bar)
(hairstyling with someone who gives you drink samples or food samples while you wait)...

other ideas?

I can't get "commercially produced" DVD's to play on my PC.

One is an exercise video and the other is a Disney movie.

PC is brand new: Windows XP, Multimedia Edition 2005; 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo; 1 G RAM; 256 M Video; 250G Hard Drive.

This is the first time I try to play a DVD on the PC. Neither will play the video portion. On the Disney Movie I can access the miscellaneous things like the coloring book to print for the kids but that is about all I can view on the DVD. The exercise video will not play/launch at all.

I looked on AfterDawn.com but couldn't find an answer there.

Hope you can help.

I have just put my site (created with dreamweaver) online and I have copied the code for every page - changing only the table in the center of the page.

Now there are like 13 pages (because I have it open up a new page everytime you view an article or set of images).

Should I be working with frames or embedding some of the information or something? Is it ok to have tons of pages or should I organize the information differently?
