Good question, as a Mormon, here are a few of the differneces I have noticed from most Christians.

Mormons believe...
-Jesus was the Creator of heaven and earth
-Jesus will be the Judge following our resurrection
-Jehova spoken of in the Old Testament was the premortal Jesus
-Jesus' intervention with mankind was not limited to the Israelites (Mormons believe He called prophets in other lands outside of Mesopatamia before his birth and that He visited these "other sheep" in various lands after His death.)
-Jesus is the spiritual offspring (the eldest) of God the Father as our we - making all of us brothers and sisters.
-God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost/Spirit are 3 distinct personages with a common purpose of bringing about the salvation of man
-Jesus literally resurrected from the dead with a tangible body and now lives and is interested in our lives and our salvation
-Jesus has once again organized His church in these latter days and guides it through revelation to man
-Jesus will come to earth again to usher in the millenial reign
-Jesus taught that all mankind may be saved through obedience and faith

There are, I am sure, many other differences, but these are the main ones that I was able to think of.

As mentioned, Mormons believe that Jesus has re-organized His church and now guides it through chosen prophets and apostles. If you are interested in knowing more about the Mormon concept of Jesus, I strongly suggest reading a short 1 page statement made by the leaders of our church, whom I believe to be called of God. You can access it, entitled "The LIving Christ" through the following link:

I hope that helps

That's He's not God. However, that's actually not the "traditional" concept of Him, unless you count Constantine and the Catholics coming up with the Trinity in 325 AD traditional. Prior to that most people thought they were seperate/different. Also, that He has a resurrected body of flesh and bone - that He lives. That under the direction of God He had a part in the creation of the world. There are others, but for the most part, they are pretty similar.

Mormons believe that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Ghost are 3 distinct, different beings, as opposed to the Holy Trinity, where they are all the same. If they are the same, then to whom was Jesus praying to in Gethsemane? Was he just talking to himself? Who was it that said "Behold My beloved son, in whom I am well pleased..." when Jesus was baptized? Was Jesus just really good at throwing his voice?

We Mormons believe that Jesus was Jehovah, the God of the Old Testament. He was the creator of the earth. He came to Earth to atone for the sins of the world. We believe that no man can come to Father but through him.

We believe in being "saved", but not that it is a one-time occurrence. Being saved means being faithful to the commandments for all of ones life. We don't believe that we can work our way to heaven. If we could, what would be the purpose of having a Savior? We believe that through the atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.

The only difference that I see most often is that as Mormons we believe that Jesus Christ will speak to a living prophet, where as most Christians seem to think Jesus Christ is limited to what He said in the Bible. I don't know if it's a case of terminal laryngitis or not. Most authors I know have written more than one book.

The Mormons teach that Jesus was born in heaven as the spirit child of Elohim by one of his wives, and Jesus' brother was Lucifer, who became Satan. Jesus is one of many Gods.

The Bible teaches "Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before God made anything at all and is supreme over all creation. Christ is the one through who God created everything in heaven and earth. (Col 115-16)
