Chicago is going to build a 2000 ft. tall Condo/Hotel and the Chicago
Tribune said it would be the tallest in the USA, I knew this was wrong. the Petronas Towers sculpture things at the top are barely taller than the Sears Tower. And I know Taiwan built the tallest at 1667 ft. high. in 2004. Now why wouldn't a Chicago Paper, where I live, boast that it will greatly exceed the tallest, and once again
be the King of Skycrapers??? it will be 333 ft higher. and the Tallest in the World!

I don't mean to offend anyone here. But my and my Mother don't really get along. I am 23/m and she is so overprotective and she smothers me to death. How am I supposed to tell her that I don't love her? I mean I do "like" my Mom but I don't love her. I appreciate some of the stuff that she does though. I am not happy with her ill conceived right wing ultra conservative politics. How am I supposed to get along with her? I'm thinking about moving accross the country in order to limit contact with her.

Most people says racial intolerance, religious intolerance, world wars, disease, energy etc. Are they really a threat to mankind?
I dont think so. Why???
Because these will not cause the extinction of human race itself. So the greatest threat will be from the one that causes extinction.
But which one will it be? Is it global warming, asteroid impacts (dinosaur extinction), or something else...

For me, its global warming...
