a month ago my wife asked her boss for a week off to go on a biz trip with me. and she approved it. we got back saturday. and on monday her boss said come and get your stuff. Is this legal? Can I do anything? she works(ed) at a childcare place. my wife even tried calling her all weekend to find out how things were and she wouldnt answer the phone

I'm writing a novel that's set in a real city in Texas (as opposed to a fictional one), with a population of about 200,000 people. Anyways, just out of curiosity I decided to google the names of my characters, to see if there were any people with those names, especially in the town my novel is set in. I discovered one major problem... one of my fairly major (but not central) characters is named "Lucy Hernandez", and apparently there is a real Lucy Hernandez in this town. I'm guessing it would be a fairly common name in an area with a large Latino population, but should I change it just to be safe? Because I'd really rather not be sued.

our border collie has been trained to do his business on paper which he does but will not do anything outside even if he has been on a long 2 hour walk he will still come back and use the paper have tried leaving him in the garden on our return for a little while but still comes in to do it on the paper I have a 13 year old blue merle cross but he's not picking up any ideas from her.
