he should certainly be given a chance as even the players like joginder singh r given a chance ,so definitely irfan pathan is due for an opportunity to prove himself

After being sent to the domestic cricket due to lack of performance. Irfan Pathan bounced back with a good performance at the domestic level. He seems like a promising young player. He is given an other opportunity to prove him self at the last ODI against W.Indies. If he could come back and show that he is capable of seeing his team win some matches, yes he deserves a second chance. I hope he can take that pressure.

Yes he will definitely make it to the team before the world cup.He is an integral part of the world cup squad and the team management is taking all the precautions to see to it that Irfan will be back with a bang .

i'm stumped!!! wats irfan doin on the benches when suresh raina is on the odi team???
frankly speaking he can bat better than raina... we need him if we have any wishes and hopes of winnin the world cup. his awesum away swingers and devastating inswingers can polish off the openers in no time. dravid is scared to give pathan the new ball cos of his supposed lack of form.
i feel that sourav [dada] is a braver and better captain hu selects players for the team and not friends[btw if u havent already noticed, raina is dravid's pet!!]

He is been given a chance in the final ODI, I think he will be given 2 more chances aganist srilanka also, if he bowls well then he deserves a place. If not, then he has to practice more.
This is the fate of not only pathan also viru, kaif etc;
No performance - No place.

yes, he is a great all rounder who fits into any three different postions in the batting order. if he bowls well and gives a solid start to the Indian innings (but he might not be an opener), then the team will win the match.

He is a terrefic find for India with bat and bowl...he may be out of form..but he can win matches...i think he should be tested b4 the world-cup

yes. He's a teriffic bowler in our team. He bowl well or bat well.
My opinion is he should concentrate only on bowling. So that he can perfom well.
