yes of course ring them and ask politely is my car ready or have you found any jobs that need doing because its a monday they are usually quite busy because people tend to leave their car there over the weekend and come monday they can be snowed under with work or someone might be off sick and that leaves them short staffed and dont forget there dinner hour too get them rung ta ta

I usually give 30 minutes after the time they gave me and then ring them - they usually say sorry I have been meaning to ring but have been too busy!!

Garage's always forget to call you, or it might just be taking longer than excpected because of people calling in ect... Give them a call and see what they say!
