my bf and i act like we are a married couple of many years. but we've only been together a few months.
we hang out with my sister.
we refer to everything as ours or we or us.
when shopping we tend to by more towards the necessities instead of wants.
i cut his hair every two weeks for him.
he does my laundry.
we have little nicknames for each other.

is this still the puppy love stage or is a good potential for a future with this guy?

.... I have no one to talk to. I am trapped here & my family is so far away.. I am around judgmental people with no, well (a tiny bit of compassion) and I have no friends. The people I would like to be friends with think that I am a snob like the people I have to be around. to tell you the truth the personality you read on my 360 page is who i really am but i can't be that way around these people.. they are republican(if that says anything). so Basicly I am completely alone ... i have been invited to visit my bf's friends mom but I was told i cant go there because my bf's mom will think i am some kind of trouble maker because she doesn't like that they aren't like her....... so what the hell do i do i am trapped ... no where to go .. no one to help me .. i keep telling my bf that i need counseling but he say's i am fine and so does his mom... i know you will all tell me to leave him ...Believe me i would if i could but i have no money and no where to go... I am not abused physiclly.

I am looking to buy a condo in Brooklyn or Queens within the next couple of years. My boyfriend and I have a combined income of about 150K a year. How much would we need to save for a down payment and closing costs. We are looking to have a mortgage that is around $1500 which is a little less than what we spend now for rent.

I don't even know what we can and cannot afford to look into. Also does being legally married have any impact on buying a home for the first time? I am also a minority, are they any programs that help first time home buyers with any costs?

Any info would be great :)

2004, injured, retained atty.
Dec. 20th 06, rec'd letter from att.stated he was "probably resigning, would advise following treatment over next 2 wks for undisclosed medical issues" Also stated for 1st time concern re drs upcoming testimony. Jan.3 rec'd email to attend mediation Jan 17th.My concerns follow.Att. was still gone.Who was handling my case.Prev. scheduled in Nov. by defense to be seen by their drs Jan 22.3 Deps of my drs was sched. for early Feb. Jan. 15th, atty sent email (1st contact in 07) to meet him 1 hr prior to mediation. In mediation, atty dropped offer below costs w/o asking, stated would not attend deps or go to trial.All surprises to me. atty said def would make offer next day.Jan 18, no offder.Jan 19th at 11am my att. rec'd a low offer with a 3pm deadline and added if I failed to take this he was quitting at the same time.I agreed to conditional accept. Insurance comp.(def) had to pay 5k in 2 days. Instead atty loaned this to me. Ths lets him ignore cond?
