When did the USA and Britain Become allies???? I know during the civil war they wanted to help the South and even as recently as 1901 some British politicians wanted to invade the "colonies". So when did the Brits become our best ally???? And is there still a sentiment that we are thier colonies to them, and some Brits who still want to invade us?

It feels to me that people (myself included) are judged many times on their appearance.
In terms of attractiviness (which i guess is relative), weight (why are people so mean to fat people!!), and clothes (making an effort).
What are your thoughts?
I think physical appearances are overrated, but my mom and other people always seem to make being attractive a big issue.
ex)my mom asks- is his new fiance good looking?
i say, does it really matter???

Last month, I found out my husband had cheated on me two years ago. He has promised it will never happen again and that he learned his lesson. The problem is, I can't stand the thought of him working with this woman. The idea of him even talking to her makes me sick. He also has made it clear that no matter how it makes me feel, he's not going to go out of his way to avoid her. That really hurt.
I'm truly considering ending my marriage because I can't get it out of my head that he might speak to this woman. I cannot afford a therapist, but I know I need help.

Got neighbors who the guy works for the apratments.. and he disturbs the peace ALL the time and they do notihng to him. Matter of fact, they even sent this idiot into MY apartment on a maintenance call, and I complain about him constantly!!!!! I dont know what to do any more. The after hrs dont start until 10 and it doesnt do any good, the security guards know him too.

Ebay has them from 30 to probably alot more. They look the same and all im trying to do is buy it for 1. improved gas mileage 2. teach and learn a little about cars by taking and putting things back together. 3. Ofcourse because its better and increases HP alittle but thats besides the point. What is good for the money? Does ebay have knockoffs or are the for real?

I had a psychology course, but can't find the book. It had this disease in it, but couldn't find the name of it. I wanted to know if anyone else knew. It's a mental illness specifically for males where they just make a new life with a name they made up and everything. My teacher told me about one guy who went missing for 8 years and was found in the state above where he used to live in, with a new family and no recollection of his past "life". It's a very curious illness that I'd like to do more research on for a paper.

ok i just need to know why there is so much hostility. I am a sony fan. ever since the ps1. and i loved the ps2. i played the xbox and i wasnt crazy about it. but i will never say to people dont get the 360, it is junk, i never played it. but you 360 owners love trashing the ps3. and i am betting something. 90% of you never played the ps3. i bet that you were telling people that the ps3 sucked before sony ever released prototype pics of the system. why do you guys hate the ps3 so much. statistically, the ps3 is far and away better than the 360. the only thing i ever hear from 360 fans is halo halo halo. so what. im sure its a good game but does that justify getting the 360. look at the original xbox. soon there will be no more games. you need to get the 360. and until a year or two ago, the were still making ps1 games. just something to think about. i think 360 owners are a little scared that the 360 is now old news and becoming obsolete. a year from now, the ps3 will be the greatest
