As we all know, Valentine's day is upon us. I am wondering if I get a nice frame an put a personalized picture of myself in it, will my boyfriend enjoy it, or will he think I'm full of myself. We have been together a while, we do not live together, so we only get so spend the weekends together. I'm thinking that he will like to have a nice picture of me in his room to remeber me.

In a town? In a mall? Near a college? Online? From a catalogue? Where have you had the most success getting fashionable (but not hugely high-priced) business wear?

I live in northern VA and it's EXPENSIVE out here! I don't need name brands. I need two weeks worth of office clothes as right now I only have one suit. I can shop at Tyson's Corner (an expensive set of malls), a regular mall, DC, Fairfax (expensive town-ish area), or the somewhat ghetto area near University of Maryland.

My silver car (clear coat finish) has a very, very small paint chip. My question is, wondering if it matters what paint I use to fill it in? I could get some relatively inexpensive silver spray paint at a hardware store, the color would match. (I would spray the paint onto cardboard, and then use a toothpick to fill in the chip).

Is there something unique in touch up paint bought from a car dealer that makes it worth it to buy?

I'm 5'8" not exactly an amazon, but people make me sound like one. I get comments like "wow you're a tall girl" or how tall are you, and i answer and they act like i'm lying. I hate when they say "wow you're tall do u play basketball"? I feel like saying wow you're short do you play miniature gulf? but i don't want to stoop to their level.
I'm not that tall. Why do people feel it's okay to ask me this all the time??
It's kinda like saying wow you are really fat! Not really the same, but you get what i'm saying. So is it rude or should i let it slide????

The "declining middle class" means that households are leaving the middle class faster than households are moving into it.

We have all these politicians saying "we're two Americas now because the middle class is shrinking." But the same BLS data set that shows that many households left the middle class shows where they went - and 92% of them moved UP.

It's also important to define terms - the "middle" means between 2X and 5X the poverty level of income - charted on a graph, the bell used to curve around 3X to 4X and now there's a wider bell that curves around 4X to 7X - households that are between 5X and 7X who used to be poorer now count as "affluent" but probably think of themselves as "upper middle class."

All that's happened is the "upper middle class" is bigger because "lower middle class" households moved up.

More people make more $ - why is that bad?

I don't know why, but I love office supplies. Post its, pens, pencils, paper, folders, notebooks... I love getting all new stuff like that. Does anybody else out there feel the same way??
