Pictures are always a nice gesture. What about scrapbooking with pictures of the both of you. If you do get a frame it will be nice to get it engraved with a nice message or you can buy a frame with something you know he likes so he knows you were thinking of him (i.e. like if he likes baseball it is a frame with baseballs-they sell some like that for kids.) He may think its nice.
Making dinner for someone is always a good Valentine's gift. I think that's what I'm doing. It comes from the heart and you both enjoy it. :-)

i think that it'll be a good idea. but like everyone else said.. not a head shot. a picture of him and you would look cute. another idea would be to take studio pictures then get the two of you's favorite picture blow it up to an 8x10 then get it framed with one that you can decorate it around with like memories between you two or little quotes.. or maybe even like old ticket stubs, glitter. you get what i mean. personalize the frame so its something to look at and remember everytime he looks at it he'll remember.

You know him and how your relationship is. I think that it is fine.
Or maybe even a picture or a colliage of pictures of the two of you together. That way you won't fell so pressured or concerned with the thoughts of him thinking that you are full of yourself.

I think it sounds very thoughtful and sweet. I know the feeling of only being able to see a bf on weekends. My friends in college were always asking to see a picture of him, but he was camera-shy. (I dumped him, but that's another matter.)

As long as it is personalized, I think it's a good idea. Just some picture of you would come across as arrogant, but personalizing it for him would be special.

I think it's a great idea. Another would be one of those crystal cubes you see sold in malls, where they can use a laser to etch a copy of a photograph.

it's a great idea - fairly inexpensive, personal. make it slightly suggestive, but not too much so that he won't be able to have it out all the time.
