I live in Seattle Washington. It is chilly, cloudy and rainy for about 8 months out of the year. Then it gets absolutely beautiful for about 3 or 4 months, sunny, dry and mild. We rarley get snow, usually 1 to 2 weeks worth of snow that doesnt last long, although this year was worse than usual as we have had several ice storms, and about 3 weeks worth of freezing weather so far.

It was nice here in St Louis for awhile today, think it got up to 60, which is a real heat wave this time of year. But, I did say we are in Missouri where the weather changes constantly, it seems. Tomorrow will be in the 20s!

When I got up this morning it was -2 with wind chills of -15. It got up to 8 today. It's getting dark now, and is probably dropping again.
I'm in between the Taconics and the Catskills in New York State.
