seriously, i'm teaching middle school in an inner city nyc school, and it's out of control. besides being cursed at daily, i have really had it! the kids are out of control, and i also feel ineffective as a teacher...no, ineffective is too sugarcoated, i feel like a failure.
so, should i stay till the end of the year and continue down this path of self-flagellation, or should i get another job. Mind you, this is my 4th year teaching, but first in the south bronx so i know i can teach , but i just think that teaching in teh inner city in nyc is just too tough. i'm too sensitive and nice...so. basically, wrong place, but should i stick it out? it looks bad on a resume if you quit mid year, but then again, it's horrible on my nerves and self esteem to stay...not to mention that the depression from teh job stress is starting to affect my relationship///

I have an old Laptop (5 Years) that the HD died and I just got a new Maxtor 300 GB external HD. I put in the Windows XP disc and ran it but when I selected the external HD it said it couldn't install it because the partition didn't have the correct rights and to contact the maker of the HD to resolve the issue. Has anyone else seen this error and how do I get rid of it so I can install XP?

Im having trouble settin up my wireless network it says im connected wirelessly but if i unplug the ethernet to the computer no internet... Then i tried to connect to the network with my laptop but it says limited or no connectivity. Ive tried running the router disk again and its no help sbc set it all up idk what the deal is

with a good job and nice home and all that he isn't interested in you and won't even give you a chance even though you have many practical things in common but when you come across a guy who is not too attractive, a little overweight, twice divorced, in a financial mess, lives with family, has low paying job, and children to support, you can't get rid of him? It just seems the good ones are unattainable and those with all the baggage are too anxious.

I have recently separated from my husband and feel ready to go out on the town again, but most of my friends are either married or have children, I work 5 days a week with special needs children and don't really mix with any adults.
I want to make some new friends to go out socialising with, but really can't think of a way to do this (I am quite shy) I would never walk into somewhere alone, and am not interested in art galleries or doing any courses or things like that, cant join a gym as I am slim, does anyone know where I can make new friends?????
