All the answers above are nonsense. Jollibees is a burger place. L&L is Hawaiian.

Go the following places:

Manila Sunset 925 E. Plaza Blvd.
National City, CA 91950 • (619) 474-0421

Conching's Cafe 3400 E. 8th St.
National City, CA 91950 • (619) 470-6993

Here's a listing of special occasion restaurants in San Diego, which could help you start to do a little research. I'd agree about Buca di Beppo - especially if they have the Pope room (a personal favorite of mine).

If you want authentic Filiipino food, try KARIHAN or tita's kitchenette (best damn barbecue on a stick) in national city along plaza blvd. It's cheap and very authentic. If you drive along plaza blvd. and also 8th street, you will find many selections of filipino restaurants to choose from. I've tried manila sunset restaurant and also villa manila and i still enjoy karihan and tita's kitchenette better.
