My BF is a real jerk but I love him. He always breaks up with me for every little thing. It's like he throws these temper tamtrums & then the next day or a few days later he starts to send me these text messages or leaves voicemails & fall right back into his trap. This time I said I'd do it differently. Now I've changed my number but now he calls me at work & I act like I have an attitude & hang up on him. My friends say that his next move will be to stop by my apartment & that will be the real test of how I can resist him. Is there any more advice on how I can play hard to get. I still love him & I'm not ready to let go but I know he'll only appreciate me if I give him a hard time and not give in so easy...so what should I do?

We had the head gasket on our Toyota Tercel '98 repaired just before christmas. Within a couple of weeks of driving it the oil light came on and there was hardly any oil left in the tank - no external oil leak (oil leaks were never a problem prior to this repair). So we took it back to the garage and sure enough there's only 50% compression in one of the cylinders and it needs a new engine. The garage admitted that it's a 1 in 100 chance that this can happen with repairing the head-gasket and that this did happen as a result of the 'repair'. Who now has the liability for replacing the engine? So far the garage has said that they won't charge me any labour, but I'm still waiting to hear back from them re: the costs of the replacement engine. Shouldn't they be liable for all costs?

I know all the women want kids, but I know deep in most guys hearts they'd rather have a boat and a fishing pole. LOL.

I don't mind when my nieces and nephews come over, but once they leave, it's so nice and peaceful. I don't ever want kids. To me it seems like a lot of work and aggravation, something I'm not ready to deal with.

Adios !

I'm asking this question because some Christians told me that they were kings but no prophet.

A co-worker recommended a chocolate covered giant fortune cookie, and I don't know if that's what I'm looking for but maybe something else along those lines thats different from just plain flowers or teddy bears getting delivered. Something fun!

A movie of female leaders who creates a cleaner, more peaceful and innovative environment on earth. Characters starring strong women like Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, Gong Li, Halle Berry, Aishwarya Rai and Jessica Alba to represent some of the different nations of the earth. This kind of starring can be a blockbuster of sorts

Although Dems won the midterm elections by a seat, to do so they ran very conservative Democratic candidates (ala Jim Webb). Taking into account that most local referendums that were voted upon swung in line with conservative ideology. When taken together we see strong conservative influence on referendums locally and Democrats elected that lean to the right. So is it safe to say that America leans more right than Democrats claim? Are they trying to claim votes in their "base" that are really swing voters who are just unhappy with Bush and not the conservative movement as a whole?
