They have kept (8) million people in poverty since 1997 by not raising the minimum wage! The increase they are proposing is $7.25 by 2010! The increase actually amounts to only 17.6cents an hour for waiting 12yrs to go from $5.15 to $7.25! Would you work 12yrs for a 17.6cent increase in you pay? Only in America do we get shafted by our Senators and Representatives! They want to keep us at poverty level for another 12yrs!!!!! May God have mercy on them!!!
