Leave it stock. The new pipe will require carb work to make it perform right. then you will be trading a quiet smooth bike for a rough loud bike marginally more powerful It s NOT worth it. Accept what it is and ride it. Honda and the rest dont hide power, they want you to have it. your carbs and exhaust are tuned fro the most even power flow, best performance overall and noise reduction, they are not dumb!

Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.
Honda made a 2 & 4 cylinder CB400 (CB400T & CB400F).

Leave the exhaust system stock. Honda spends many hours and thousands of dollars getting the tuning correct on their engines and the exhaust system is part of the process. Nothing to be gained and much to lose by changing it. I know that's not the answer a lot of guys want to hear but its the truth.
