I know all the women want kids, but I know deep in most guys hearts they'd rather have a boat and a fishing pole. LOL.

I don't mind when my nieces and nephews come over, but once they leave, it's so nice and peaceful. I don't ever want kids. To me it seems like a lot of work and aggravation, something I'm not ready to deal with.

Adios !

I have felt the same way in the past... (except, not with a boat and a fishing pole, more of something along the lines of a comic book and a good movie on TV) I was worried that having a child would ruin a life I was very comfortable with. My wife is now 20 weeks pregnant and I still have spells of worry about such things. But then I realize that I am going to be someone's dad... That someone will look to me with the same awe and love that I directed at my parents when I was little. It WILL be alot of work, but all good things are hard...

I don't think that guys don't want to have children, I just think that we are more afraid to leave our comfort zone...

Get a vasectomy! Seriously, I did, and it's great not to have to worry about an unwanted pregnancy. It's relatively easy and mostly painless, and it's actually a good financial investment if you look at the long-term costs of birth control.

That said, I got mine AFTER my two beautiful, wonderful, charming, intelligent daughters were born. I wanted to have children, and I am very, very glad to have these children. I would go so far as to say that I did not understand the true meaning of love until my first was born.

However, children are not for everyone, and there is nothing wrong with that. I think the world would be a better place if people who didn't want children didn't have them! Congratulations to you for knowing this about yourself.

My husband and I don't want kids. It isn't that we don't like them we just don't want any. It is a personal choice and if two people agree on it then it is fine. You are entitled to how you feel and what you want in your life. :)

My husband does but he physically cannot have one... He wishes he could though but he loves my kids as his own so that is a good thing.
