They were Kings back in the days before Christ. King Solomon received the gift of wisdom from God and became the wisest man to ever live. King David, was nick named a man after God's own heart. Neither were prophets, but were good men whom God used back in the Old Testament days.

There are a number of people who claim prophecey exist in the psalms and proverbs. Psalm 22 for one. As such, Solomon and David might be considered prophets, but primarily, they were kings.

For certain, King David is also a prophet. Many of the Psalms, especially Psalm 22, the Messiah Psalm, contain precise prophecies that are fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

No, they weren't prophets, however they likely had prophets in their court as most kings did. God did however grant Solomon the gift of great wisdom.

They were both. Kings of the Jews and prophets of God. Their decedent Jesus was the one "pure" prophet since he and Adam were the only men born without a father. Jesus is the only one to remain pure throughout his time on earth and is thus the top prophet. Jesus did not die on the cross, he was taken up by God and is awaiting his return during the Golden Age to teach the rest of us how to live on earth under God's laws without destroying the amazing gift we have been given...our home earth. This is what true Muslims believe.

They're main men of the Bible. So is Moses.

Christians only cannonize New Testiment people, maybe out of respect for the Jewish. Might be in Bad Taste to go around naming Churches St. Moses.
