I notice that I live in a big city. It seems like my health, and many others around me are getting sicker and sicker, younger and yourger..
I feel like the only one that feels like this. I am coughing as I walk my son to school, as the cars, and trucks are passing. I am breathing the fumes, and feel sick, and have a headaches, and other medical issues as well like fibromyalgia, depression, ovarian cysts, memory loss. Shouldn't I worry, or be like most and just pretend that it's ok? Why is this happening to me, and so many others more and more?

I have a best friend. I cared and loved for her a lot.
We went through so many obstacles together.
We had misunderstandings but we managed to work it out.
Recently, she became so angry with me and refused to tell me the reasons why. Instead, she went off with another girl.
What should I do? I don't want to lose her.

I am currently separated from my husband. We have a daughter 6 and a son 4. The kids ad I are living with my mom in a more urban area where the schools aren't as good as the ones we moved from(in the subarbs). My husband is out in the burbs still where the better schools are. I have to make up my mind if I want to drive across town everyday for a better school or drive a few blocks to this one. The school by my mom is not horrible just a different atmosphere. My daughter is being teased and threatened by some kids. I also have an ulterior motive. If they're over there, I can be closer to my husband as I am hoping for a reconciliation.

I've attended many Vietnamese receptions but I never really paid attention to the details of what was going on. Now... I am getting married and I have no idea what to do. Being that I am Buddhist, my family just basically concentrates on the reception as the actual wedding. What details should I make sure I pay attention to and what should I exactly do at the reception other than going from table to table to thank my guests for coming and collect money?

They are talking about reinvigorating the stalled peace process that was born in 1993. im 12 weeks along. Today at work they made me try on a lifting betl. im a size 3xl they made me try on a regular xl. anyway it squished my stomache really bad i told them it too tight they said to keep it on and make sure i wore it about 10 minutes it was reaqlly squeezing my insides like a gurdle. anyway after 10 minutes i told them i refuse to wear it cuase it was sqeueezing the baby and etc... well anyway after my stomahce hurt. do u think the baby is ok > could that hurt the baby?

I'm a soon-to-be graduate of a well respected public university with a top ten department in anthropology (my major and intended field in grad school). I have decent GRE scores (around 80th percentile and I intend to take them again), a 3.7 GPA, and over a year of research experience in biological anthropology. With that said, I only intend to get a Master's degree and was wondering whether it would be more beneficial for me to apply to elite universities with lower ranking anthro departments (such as Columbia) or schools with poorer overall academic reputations that have top notch anthro. departments (like U of Arizona). I know Prof. X always says to apply to the best departments and then follow the money, but the reason I asked this question is because I likely won't be working in the field of anthropology.
