Ok. I began to play music cause of the 'grunge'scene. I was a young kid (12), picked up a six string, hit the distortion, and had fun.

I have always thought Nirvana was talented. Kurt CObain, even though he wrote simple basic songs, was a great song writer. He was certainly not a guitar god like Jimi Hemdrix, but Kurt played his own style with attitude. Heavly influenced by punk and the underground, Nirvana sold themselves to Sub Pop, a label that would later sign to Warner Music. Kurt didn't want to become a huge money making selling machine, and believed in the Syd Barrett/punk esthetic of making music you like, and fuckers to the industry.

However, Kurt was also into herion. And he married a junkie whore and had a kid with her. He felt responsible for his well being of his band mates. He tried to clean up and failed. He didn't want his daughter to hate him when he grew older. He escaped his last rehad clinic, got back to Seattle, did more drugs, allowed his demons to haunt him, then took his own life.

He was not killed by Courtney. She is a low life, but Cobain was on the edge. Depressed, strung out, no hope.

It was a sad day. I was skipping school and getting drunk when I heard he killed himself. So I put back another beer for him.

i'm more suitable indignant that Courtney is rumored to be heavily in touch interior the project as an consultant. they must be chatting with Dave and Krist instead of that psychotic b****! Frankly i'm detached. real he's time-honored for the fagatronics that are the Twilight sequence, yet he should not be banned from playing good roles purely because of that connection. undergo in concepts how each guy on the planet (me blanketed) had to carry Leonardo DeCaprio at the same time as he first began as a results of teen ladies tripping over him, yet then he began to get some good roles and has grown to be an rather good actor (IMO). rather some you adult adult males want to be a touch more suitable purpose. Plus rumor is that David Fincher will be directing, so i'm doubting there is gonna be any whimpy teen-idol bullshit. I do although worry any acceptance Nirvana would get with the teen woman demographic although because of Pattinson's involvement. it is nice for human beings to proceed to achieve pastime of their music, yet it is a fad more suitable than an pastime, and which will be a vast insult to Cobain's memory because it really is precisely what he didn't wish. Frankly i do not imagine Kurt will be extremely joyful about a movie being made about him era although, inspite of who become in touch. like the poster reported he despised repute and pa lifestyle.

I don't get it. Why become a performer and get a record deal if you don't want the fame? He could've easily been a garbage man and just had a band on the side if he didn't want the hassle. I wasn't a fan of the grunge scene but I watched the documentary Kurt & Courtney and he was obviously a troubled man. I think he would've killed himself no matter how his life went.

courtney the ***** did it. he had a level of drugs (cocaine prob) in his body that would have render ANYONE who took it comatose immediately or within seconds. he would not have the capacity to pull the trigger on himself or to prep the weapon before doing so.

someone did it, not him

what do i think about it hmm well... people who knew him said he was unhappy being a celebrity and was maybe going to quit the music business. and i think it was maybe a murder set up by courtney love, so that would make it even more sad if he didn't want to die but died out of his own hands.
