Our office just moved. I sit in a cubicle - and to my horror - have found that in our new office we have NO radio reception whatsoever.

Plus - because of the firewall here - I can't stream anything thru the net.

Does anyone have any advice - or am I screwed?

Maybe there's a type of radio with an extra strong antenna?....or maybe satellite radio is the answer? I don't know anything about it....can you get a satellite radio the same way as a regular radio - or does it only come installed in a car.

Forgive my ignorance - I really don't know anything about this kind of thing.

Hi my mum locked me in the house today because she knows I am planning to meet up with someone. She says I can't go unless we go by her rules (she treats me like a 5yr old) anyway I'm 16, in the UK and I can't get out of my house when I have important plans to go out tomorrow. What can I do, I mean is this even legal? Could I get the police to let me out? I can't believe she has done this :( all my plans will be ruined!

I'm gonna be 18 in a month, but everywhere, esp. where I'm required to shopw my ID, ppl question me. They practically insist that I'm 13 or 14. Freshmen asked me out thinking that I'm in middle school. All through high school, ppl thought i was an underclassman or a bit younger and I'm tired of ppl talking this kinda crap about me. I kno I'm small 4 my age (5' 3.5") so I need them to stop rubbing it in. How do I get them to stop and how do I get myself to look older?

i know there are many types of english accents. but i don't really know how to categorize them. (i am in the US)

so...i was watching some BB clips from channel 4 online...can you please tell me what regional accent jade goody has?

the more i watch british tv, the more diverse "the english accent" is becoming to me. now i would like to start making regional connections with what i am hearing.

My 5 month old daughter and 4 year old son both had positive strep tests almost two weeks ago but neither had a sore throat. My daughter had a fever, my son was vomiting with no fever. This is my first baby and im getting used to all the stuff u are supposed to nedd with a newborn. I was going to make my own cotbumper, but whilst researching it, i have read that they are dangerous and should not be used with a newborn? So any experienced mums wanna tell me their experiences/thoughts on this? Should I just use blankets/sleeping bags and thats it?? Its all so confusing!
