I have a son that has to have a car seat until 80pds. The booster seats require a shoulder strap.

You can find people who will retrofit them, but they are VERY hard to find because of the liability issues.
There was only 1 in about a 200 mile radius of where I live and he only did it as a favor to a Trooper who was a zealous advocate of seatbelt safety.

As Steve says, check with the manufacturer. If you must use a shoulder strap, put it in the front seat.

you should be able to get a should strap installed or a kit to hook up the car seat check with thte manufactuer of the car seat

you could have them put in but I'm sure it will be a little costly if they have to weld in braces to secure them.

don't do anything. they had little kids when you car was new also. or get a new car
