Would a good-looking young man, in your opinion, be rendered less so were he possessed of a full (but neatly trimmed) beard?

Probably. For various reasons.
Firstly, beards tend to make people look older. Whether this is the case with you I don't know, but often they do make people look older, and occasionally less approachable (as if they're hiding behind it).
Secondly, many women just don't like beards. No idea why. My friend has a real vendetta against facial hair.
Thirdly, it obstructs view of the mouth. Mens' lips are often part of what women find attractive. Therefore, if you obscure the view of the mouth, you obscure an important feature in attraction.
Lastly, the practical problem of kissing. I have problems even when my boyfriend does shave properly... so I can imagine that kissing a man with a beard for an extended amount of time would lead to serious beard burn.
Get rid of it, I'd say. Unless you have a weak chin. Then you can keep it. Good luck :)

Yes. Don't grow a beard unless you are on an adventure trip like sailing round the world in yatch. Besides ladies and kids can not grow beard and you naturally can neither win the love of the first nor the affection of the second. Further they develop a secred animosity towards you. And most men do not want to associatewith 'the bearded guy' and consider you the odd man out.

yes i think so because i personally don't like men with beard. u know people without beard look younger and cuter than people with beard. the choice is urs, but i my opinion u would be considered less.

Beards..no..generally not a turn on in a younger man. A little stubble is sometimes pretty hot.

My very good looking husband grows a goatee every winter and I find it does take away from his good looks. Although some other women comment on how good it looks so once again it all depends on your personal preference.

beards are so sexy in my opinion but statistics say that only 10% of women like full beards i guess it depends on your face shape and overall look

Eugh!!! hate beards but I suppose it would turn some girls on thinking they can change him, they can't you know. (take my uncle he has dreadlocks there is nothing my auntie can do) However it is only now i appreciate stubble so maybe the older you get the more you change.

Yes i personally do not like facial hair and also feel people who cover there mouth area in one way or another may be partial to telling lies
