I am changing careers. I'm interested in nursing. I thought I'd start out as a CNA to get into the field, but I'm only a few shifts in and I don't think I can do it. Did you feel this way when you started? How long until you were comfortable and efficient?

I'm so confused btween two things..!!!!?

i want to break up w/ my bf-but everytime i try he gets p.o'd ( pissed off) at me-so i get scared. Hes sweet but hes mostly a jerk ( BIG!) i think h's bi-polar .....? SHould i break up w/ him?

Reoccuring urine infections; what can be done? Also after sex when have not been with my partner for a while?

Hi. I have a urine infection at least twice a year. When I have sex, it happens too if I have not been with my partner for a while, as he sometimes has to go away for his work. What can I do? If I am rundown, I get it too....I would like some professional advice if possible but anyone who has had this and found a solution, please help. Thank you everybody

Ambush on parents, or a genius idea to avoid immediate guilt trip about wedding?

Should we tell our parents of destination wedding upon first meeting; they never met before .... tell them of our plans at first meeting?

My fiance and I have recently decided to have a destination wedding and not invite ANYONE, including our parents.

My parents divorced over 20 years ago and still HATE each other. Both have re-married since then. My fiance's parents are still married and would really like us to have a TRADITIONAL wedding, as would my mother and my grandmother.

While they have an idea of our plans, we are thinking of having them (my mother and stepfather and his parents) meet for the first time for dinner and announce our wedding plan.

We think that they are less likely to get overly upset in the presence of future in-laws, and this will allow them to let the news settle in for a little while.

Is this an ambush to spring it on them like this, or a good idea, so we don't get a guilt trip?

They already have a VERY good idea we are planning this.

Thank you to everyone who answered my last question...how about this?

Since all of you in one form or another answered "Yes" that you feel people should take responsibility for their actions, do you believe the following:

Abortions should only be allowed for victims of rape and incest? If no, then why shouldn't the two people who did the deed to make the baby have to live with the consequence?

We should not raise minimum wage? If no, should those people who desire not to make anything of themselves live comfortably for their laziness (eg: Not getting an education, not working hard to get out of poverty)? And, it's a common fact that the mentally and physically handicapped can, and many do, work, so don't use that excuse.

If a person is convicted of brutal premeditated murder, he/she should be put to death? If not, why should the family of the victims and the tax payers in general be forced to provide them a comfortable life in prison until they die naturally?

i know i am old but could not resist this one funny or not.?

Three guys are drinking in a bar when a drunk comes in, staggers up to them, and points at the guy in the middle, shouting, "Your grandma's the best sxx in town!" Everyone expects a fight, but the guy ignores him, so the drunk wanders off and bellies up to the bar at the far end.

Ten minutes later, the drunk comes back, points at the same guy, and says, "I just did your grandma, and it was suh-weeeet!" Again the guy refuses to take the bait, and the drunk goes back to the far end of the bar.

Ten minutes later, he comes back and announces, "And your grandma liked it!!"

Finally the guy interrupts ..."Go home, Grandpa, you're drunk."
