Use any brand of clarifying shampoo. I have the same problem. I use Sauve, cheap and simple solution. Won't dry your hair out, either. I've also read that you can use baby powder if you need a quick fix for on the go. You can buy special hair powder for oily hair, i think the brand is Bumble and Bumble.

I use TRESEMME vitamin C deep cleansing (for all hair types) and it really works..
I have tried different brands but I m very satisfied with this one. If you have oily scalp, at least the first shampoo, you should massage your scalp deeply with the shampoo, that is before you wet the hair. After that you can continue washing your hair as you are used to...Wash the hair 3-4 times before the conditioner and use a lot of water to rinse the hair. Cold water is good for oily scalp don't use it warm. Another tip: don't touch your hair after is dry, our hands secrets essential oils that tend to stick to the hair, if you wash it too much, that is going to leave the hair dry and the lead you to split ends. Wash it every 4-6 days.
God Bless

You only need to shampoo MORE OFTEN! Use an anti-dandruff shampoo, coz I've noticed that people with oily hair have dandruff, too, because of the clogged hair follicles. This will take the greasiness out.

Most manufacturers have shampoos especially for oily hair. But, look for Breck, it is back on the mark and will help you control the oil. After you have shampoo'd don't use a cream rinse, rather rinse it in a touch of vinegar in water.

Head and shoulder is for Dandruff and will make your hair oilier.
I use Fructus by Garnier and choose the kind made for oily hair.
It works great. You want clarifying shampoo and not moisturizing or volumizing.

try using aussie products.. also, a good part of oily hair has to do with the conditioner, not just shampoo! aussie has a conditioner which is dual, a tip mender and helps with greasy/oily roots... it's called cleanse & mend.
worked for me.. and i have extremely thick hair. good luck!
