I live in Tucson, Az, and it snowed last night. It was pretty heavy and the snow stuck to the ground, it was so weird seeing snow on a cactus. Anyways, my sister and I took a walk, and we were seeing eerie green colored lightning. We did not actually see the bolt, but the flash was significant enough to know that it was lightning. I thought that lightning could only occur in warmer weather? Can anyone explain this please?

I do. I work with juvies and as soon as the wage increase was put into effect, all of these students had their jobs suspended. They do not have enough funding to cover vocational ed jobs at 2 dollars an hour more.

I imagine a lot of this is going to happen soon.

Good job sticking up (sticking it to) for the little guy democrats! Youve just increased the unemployment.

I have had a 29 gallon tank running for about 2 1/2 weeks now. It is the first tank I have ever had. I have 6 green tiger barbs, 2 platyes, and 1 dwarf gourami. I have a couple live plants, several fake plants, a couple of rocks, and a couple small structures (all aquarium-safe). The heater keeps the water at 78 degrees. The bio-wheel filter is for a tank up to 50 gallons. I have been feeding 1 to 2 times per day, alternating between tetramin flakes and freezedried bloodworms. The last couple of days the green tiger barbs seem to swim pointed down at about a 45 degree angle. It also seems like if they stop swimming, they float to the top almost immediately. It was especially bad with the biggest one tonight. It looked like he was having a difficult time swimming and if he stopped he would float quickly to the top, sometimes on his side. He would sometimes float at the top for a few seconds, then start swimming again. What is wrong?

My friends car while driving makes a grinding sound, it almost sound like it's comming from under the hood or maybe the front driver side wheel. When it does this it almost feels like it holds the car back and won't let acclerate. I know it's not the spark plugs because you can rev it up while it's in park and it dose'nt miss. Could it be the wheel barron or what do you think?????
