The US Constitution prohibits a President from holding office for more than 2 successive terms. If Hilary tapped Bill to be her VP and she died, there is a chance he could become president.

No. The US Constitution does not say that. Actually the 22nd Amendment reads:
Section 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.
The Constitution also states that any person not eligible for President is ineligible for VP as well. Bill Clinton can only be the Former President and the First Gentlemen.

22nd amendment does prohibit Bill from running for President again, but there's nothing in the Constitution to prohibit him from running for VP. I'm voting Bugs Bunny '08, to hell with the rest of the candidates.

FDR was elected for a third term. Things were changed after that. The Clintons are a shoo in i hope. doesn't need to be vp. vp ordinarily does nothing until now. but bill will be right there at her side and since his heart surgery is not likely to be cutting up and into his old shenanigans anymore. We get two for the price of one.

He is not eligible, having been elected for two terms. You have to be eligible to be President in order to be Vice President.

No he couldn't, if she died he couldn't be president because he's already served the full 8 years.

I doubt that that's allowed and in any case, i very much doubt that the democrats would run him again or that he'd want to go through that again.

I don't think there is a law against it. he would in your case not be the elected president.

She can't "tap" him to be VP, he would have to be elected, and that just ain't gonna happen.
Shouldn't this have been in the "jokes and riddles category"?

I don't think so since he is not eligible to serve as president.
