I have a guy friend. He has done so much for me. For nine years. Though he never answers my call or messages as he has no credit. I tried calling him a week ago to ask if he wanted to go to the movies. He didn't answer. So i messaged him. He never called me back from his home phone or anything. So i took it thta he is sussed out that i asked him to the movies, thinkin i lyk him more than a friend and stuff. So i decided to message him that i asked my best friend emma to go coz i didn't know if he wanted to and it was saturday (a day b4 the planned day for the movies). I sent nother message sayin, I'm having some friends over next sat 2 *** swimming in my pool, and was wonderin if he wanted 2 come. I haven't heard from him. I told him to call me, and there were other guys going 2, so it wasnt lyk It was a me and him thing, nothin 2 b embarresed bout. Do I call him agen? Or do I leave him alone and let him call me, acting lyk I dont care?

I get drug tested at work so I can do my job and pay my taxes etc... Some of what I make goes to pay welfare. Hence I cannot take their (the companies) money without a clean drug free bill of health. I have worked in a county jail for years and see many welfare folks coming in there on drug related charges. What about drug testing welfare recipients on a random basis. What would the consequences be if they came up positive for drugs? I am all for supporting the kids god bless them, but could we curtail some of the adult drug and alchohol abuse with some sort of accountability on their part before they are qualified to recieve our support?

Any liberals out there? You might be surprised to find that the liberalism practiced and advocated today is not true liberalism according to the founder of liberalism-John Stuart Mill.

So.... I work Friday-Monday, jacked up schedule, I guess that's what happens when your a Public Servant right? ha! well... not really a servant, but I feel like it sometimes... anyhow! I get tues-thurs off, and well... on my days off, I like to enjoy a little more than a few drinks! normally on my own cuz no one wants to drink because they have to work the next day! it being on the weekday My Days OFF! so when the weekend gets here for everyone else! I get invited to kick it or go to parties or go out, and of coarse... i'm not gonna go and stay dry, so I'll have just a few drinks to casualy socialize w/ the friends and people, Well.... people are starting to tell me I have a "Drinking Problem" because I seem to be drinking a lot, I feel I don't have a Drinking Problem because I drink when I want to, and its never that I have to, Does that Make me an alcoholic?

This question is not meant to be bigoted, just based on personal experience. I've noticed that females tend to have a harder time working together than males. In my experience in ROTC and some of my jobs, it seems that all women in groups become undermined by gossip, petty feelings, and drama. While these things can happen in any group, it just seems like they are more prevalent with more females whereas male groups just tend to get the job done. Is this true or just anecdotal? Has there been any scientific studies on this phenomenon? I would appreciate a female's perspective.

scientists...say in caltech, cuz they are doing experiments in neural modelling...invent a device that connects to your brain, and you can 'see' how others solve problems...say math geniuses solve math problems, rubics geniuses solve the rubics cube...and you instantly 'seeing' HOW really they do it....thus learning instantly... If things like going to the office become only through virtual worlds...where you go to office virtually and then 'wake' up in your home--if you could get food sensations (and just eat a pill) and sex-yeia, and thrill rides....through 'neural injections' ? (there is a study in caltech that explains how a computer sends to the remote 'human' sensor, information of an object...say, a baseball moving in the air...and the person can not only 'feel' the object with touch....but 'sense' its motion...kind of like telepathically 'sensing' the object) How would this have implications for mankind? The economy? Goverment? The life process? reproduction?food?

Wouldn't it be more fair to have criminal fines be a percentage of the violaters income or find some other way to punish people (community service, probation, jail time, etc.) that is more equitable? Most fines are a standardized amount set by statute. Obviously, if you break the law enough times you become a habitual violater and you will serve jail time, which is the same for rich and poor, but the first few offenses for the wealthy are essentially free while the poor begin "punishment" their first offense. Aren't people to be afforded equal protection under the law regardless of class, economic or otherwise? Aren't fines just a way for the government to supplement their budget?

What communities are the most open to interracial dating? For example, I've heard that Minneapolis has many black-male/white-female couples, with less "stigma" than in many parts of the country.

And what parts of Europe are the most open to black-white dating? What parts are the least open?

And I'll admit that I pretty much assume that all Asian countries are generally hostile to black people as romantic partners, and that throughout Latin America being black ("openly black" so to speak) is a negative in terms of dating (despite the fact that many Latinos have some degree of African descent)... am I wrong to make these assumptions?

Thanks for your help.

My fiance and I have been trying to get pregnant with no success, its funny how when you DON'T want it, it is most likely to happen but when you do it just won't. Anyways we both are in college and are getting married over spring break. We both want a child together terribly bad, my question is how bad of an idea would this be? Is it infact doable and manageable? If so, what suggestions do you have to help us along? All info appreciated!

im 18 and a freshman in college and lately experiencing alot of stress at school. while the workload isnt too bad, lots of things in my social life are starting to be. and not the way someone would expect a normal college students social life to interfere. i dont use drugs/alcohol, im into the straightedge/hardcore scene and dont depend on them like alot of my friends. im kinda shy about meeting people so i only have a few close friends and my bf [were in a long distance relationship]. lately ive been having alot of trouble dealing with stress from my bf, friends and a lack of activity that means much to me. if a problem comes my way, usually with my bf or friends, i easily get overwhelmed and usually really upset, even if the problem isnt that big. i also have trouble sleeping, especially when my roomie isnt here. i easily tire throughout the day, and i always have very sore back/shoulders. ive talked to my bf and he thinks i may have generalized anxiety. help?? or any stress tips?

I'm looking for something similar to "pain is weakness leaving the body" or something inspiring like that.

This is for badminton, and we have an X team for extra hours for conditioning, and this motto is what it's for. it's also mainly our varsity. It's pretty intense. haha.

Also, this will be going on the back of our team shirts! Thanks
