I suffer from edema, my ankles have a burning sensation at night when I go to bed, never prior to laying down

I would like for someone to gfive me advise on how to releve this burning feeling. thank you

My b/f has severe edema. His legs are huge and his ankles small. I think the burning is because you are finally taking pressure off of you ankles when you lay down and then the real pain and aching starts. This often happens to him. You need to take an anti-inflammatory or an ibuprofen to help. Maybe your Dr could prescribe something to help you out. Good luck.

Edema... a swelling condition. I'm curious what all is swollen...??? Are you taking medication? The burning sensation may be a side effect of it... it seems uncommon...

I'd see a doctor about it... edema is such a general term that its hard to say whats causing your pain.
