What communities are the most open to interracial dating?

What communities are the most open to interracial dating? For example, I've heard that Minneapolis has many black-male/white-female couples, with less "stigma" than in many parts of the country.

And what parts of Europe are the most open to black-white dating? What parts are the least open?

And I'll admit that I pretty much assume that all Asian countries are generally hostile to black people as romantic partners, and that throughout Latin America being black ("openly black" so to speak) is a negative in terms of dating (despite the fact that many Latinos have some degree of African descent)... am I wrong to make these assumptions?

Well i think your wrong about the Latin America assumption. The problem with Latin America is that none of like each other, Cubans and puerto ricans and columbians and argentinians and peruvians and mexicans and (the list goes on) hate each other. Not that anyone has a reason its just the way we have been in the past. I think that's changing though with the younger generations. There is more a "we're all the same attitude." So if a columbian hates you for dating his sister it is more likely due to the fact that your "not columbian" as oppossed to your being "black." Your right about Latino African descent though. As far as latinos go, we have a little bit of EVERYBODY (arab, asian, african, indiginous, caucasian, etc. . .) in us (I think maybe cuz we work so hard to put a little bit of us in everybody -) Anyhoo, I think the places that are most receptive to interracial couples are urban areas (cities). Not that we don't have our fools in the urban areas, but I think b/c there is just more people no one makes that an issue at all. In Miami no one thinks twice. Not even when a Cuban marries a Puerto Rican. You may not know just how big a deal that can be LOL! Hope this helped.

Um, possibly Miami, Florida or London, England. Definitely New York Virginia Beach, Virginia. Depending on the area. Mt. Clemens, MI. Been out there, tons of BM/WF mix though they are mainly white trash.

I think some Latinos don't want there daughters to marry blacks because they have black blood from the slave trade because African slaves went even to Mexico. Most blacks nor white people know this due to pure ignorance. So, they have this colorism thing going on in minority races, black, hispanics. So they called it "marrying up" and if you already have black blood then if you marry a black person your chances of improving the race are slim.

You need to get out more; I'm black and have had relations with Asian women who were born in this country and some were just visiting for business or school. I had a serious relationship with a mexican woman who stayed in mexico, while I was there on business. If you only live on one side of the tracks, then that's the only world you know and you assume that's how the whole world is.

I'll second the large cities notion. In most of Western Europe you should be okay. Africa would probably be great too. As you said I'd be wary about Asia and Latin America, but keep in mind that dirty looks is probably the worst that'll happen to you.

I live in Houston.
We have a large percentage of bi-racial people and couples.
Its almost common place. Unlikely sounding huh? The south!

Its not uncommon to see totally different colored parents and children and the couple is not related too or its a mixed family.

People just assume they are family. I have only had one person in 5 years ask me. He was being a smartass and a stupid white guy.

I was asked once if my daughter was my REAL daughter.
I said yes, she is really the love of my life, my child.
She is Hispanic- adopted. I am Irish-(way white), my husband is Italian, so she looks like him (really) and my son looks like me.
Ironically my family is American Indian & Irish- my brother is very dark and so is my mother. We don't look related in summertime.
We love our family. ITS ours. Blended American mutts we are!

I know many mixed families and couples. Diversity is wonderful.

I'm not sure. But why does it matter? I do live in a small community where it's pretty much frowned upon, but it doesn't stop me. If I like someone enough, I don't give a d*mn what anyone thinks...I'm almost 24 years old...I don't need their approval. I know it didn't help, but I just had to comment on it. I hate racism, and just wish that people could see no matter what color your partner is, if they make you happy, so what???

Western Europe is the most open to multi-racial relationships,especially the UK,London is the most culturally diverse city in the world and there is a huge mix of multiracial marriages and dating.

My friend it is true. Many close minded people hate blacks. Well it tells you one thing , they are "butt kissers". They even have low esteem for themselves. I have noticed many races and people who hate blacks in particular. Almost all of them fall into the category of non-educated , low level society. So if someone hated the idea of dating black..that is because he is of low self esteem. Mind you he /she shouldn't be dating a black . but opposing the idea is what I am against .
Having said that, South Texas seems to be a bit liberal. You see many Hispanic-Black couples. I know Germans, regardless of the notion we have are less racists. The men marry lots of black women. I know a lot of Black/ black desecendant women with a German husband. Arab women ,specially Iranians,tend to be open to dating black men. I hear Jews are racist. They even segregate Ethiopian Jews because they are browner. Koreans, you can say are liberal. Filipinos are open minded. All the filipino women,well most tend to like me. Indians, if well educated, are less close minded. French,well look Louisiana. Women from former soviet union and eastern socialist countries love black men.
I think most nations of the world are getting more open minded and civilized except for the South..you know USA.
