About a year ago, I had to stay in a hospital overnight for stomach pains. I got up in the middle of the night, and while I was in the hallway, my gown snagged on a laundry cart and ripped clean off me, while the orderly didn't notice!

In a panic, I had to run BUCK NAKED straight down the hall to my room, and a nurse noticed this, and came to my room and offered to get me a new gown with a smile on her face while I hit under my bed covers.

If YOU had been that nurse, what could you have said to make me blush about that one?

(This was based on Matthew 5:32 in which Jesus said that anyone who marries a divorced woman is an adulterer.)

The answers contained many justifications saying they could be Christians, while several others declared that they could not be Christians. (And some were simply confusing or avoided the question.)

Do the same justifications or condemnations apply equally to a gay marriage and to a second marriage (after divorce)? If they are different, why?

the other day I was at one of my friend's houses and we were looking at pornos on the internet. I have a girlfriend, I'm 16, and i just lost my virginity (it was great, I love it!) Anyways, I always looked only at normal porno before, but we were looking at all this weird stuff and we looked up shemales. I thought it would totally gross me out but I was kind of turned on by them having sex and stuff. lots of other countries already have had female presidents? why not the US of A? there have many that have run, but i'm willing to bet you've never heard of them because the male dominated media controls a lot of what you see and hasn't supported them. So dont you find it annoying when people you meet say they like AFI and all they know is their Decemberunderground stuff (or just Miss Murder and Love Like Winter...) Its reaaaaaaaaaaaally bugging me... coz they seriously know NOTHING about them cept that "Miss Murder is a good song..."
GOSH!! AFI..one of the best bands ever and now people only notice them because of their mainstream-ness.

I found AFI through Miss Murder but at least i do a bit of research before saying I like them.

I am highly interested in learning about the history of interpretation of the Bible, but I'm not really sure where to start. I'm especially interested in learning how people have historically understood the book of Revelation, and how they have understood the thornier parts of the Bible, like those that seem to condone slavery, or that have strange laws like in Leviticus. I'm curious to know, for instance, how different people argued for or against slavery based on the Bible, and what different people thought the strange imagery in Revelation meant for their times. Does anyone know of any good introductory books that deal with this topic?

What's the best product to fight frizz, poof and curl? I currently use frizzease straightening balm and a shine serum from Got2B that helps with frizz. I have naturally wavy/curly hair and I used to get it chemically straightened but I haven't done it in a year. The weather in Louisiana is always humid or lately raining and I can't controll my hair. I straighten it and it will look perfect and then I walk outside for 5 minutes and I have a poof ball for hair. I like my curls but the straightener is still growing out so the curls aren't so perfect and they get poofy and frizzy too.
