Why or why not?

Hey everyone. Just got a lionfish on Friday, right after having my water checked. Shortly after introducing my new fish into the tank, I dropped in a whole silverside. The lionfish gulped it in whole. It wasn't a huge silverside, but he swallowed the whole thing nevertheless. Tried tossing in a small piece of silverside on Sat, but he didn't eat it. I noticed his abdomen was bulging, and figured he was probably still full, plus I knew the lionfish didn't need to be fed so frequently. Now it's Sunday night and I found the lionfish dead. I know the water if safe...so the only answer I can think of is that he was overfed from that one silverside. Is it possible? Has this happened to anyone else?

But I have not closed my mind up so tightly inside a cocoon of ignorance that I can't ask a question about something I don't know about like some of you have. Whether I bealive in a thing or not is immaterial. Now does anyone have the nerve to give me an honest answer. My question Why is it a sin for Catholics to eat meat on Friday. Seems like a simple enough question. Is it a secret or something. Or do you just not know the answer your self Catholics?

2.You are given the following problem:
Find within a text (given as a text file) the most occurrent word.

a.To this end, design an algorithm that takes as input a text, and prints the most occurrent word, along with its number of occurrences.

How would I go about solving this? I was considering a hash table using chaining and a counter but it might get complex and inefficient. I was also considering using some sort of binary search tree. Anyhow, I am not looking for a solution but rather some opinions and ideas. Thanks

My clothes dryer has been allowing a lot of lint to escape into the clothes lately. I have vacuumed it but still have too much lint in my clothes. Any hints as to how I can overcome this problem would be much appreciated. thank you! Kend

My doctor said I can keep it in till it gets uncomfortable. I'm already showing at 9 weeks. I will be huge by 20 weeks....so my question is when did you guys take it out??? How did you keep it from closing up??? I still want mine pierced without repiercing it.

Ok I was at a swing club last night and I say my mother-in-law in one of the rooms ( I won't even go into the fact that she was with the guy I was with last weekend). My problem is that my husband also goes to that club. I don't want him to walk in and see his mother there (my father-in-law would die if he knew that any of us were there). Should I confront my mother-in-law and let her know that I saw her and to be careful about her son being there, or tell my husband. The problem is that there are not many clubs around. The only plus side to me is I now know that I can party with my mother-in-law.

When I got my ultrasound at 20 weeks, my doctor mentioned that it was odd that the baby was sideways still. She said she should have been vertical by now, but I shouldn't worry about it (not in the birth position yet, just vertical.) I can tell she is still sideways because of her movements (I feel them on both sides of my tummy and they are quite far apart, there is no way she could make movements like that if she was vertical.) I am worried about having a C-section. I'd like to avoid it, but will always do what is best for baby. Did anyone else have issues like this? I'm going to see my doctor on Tuesday, but she's so laid back that I'd like to hear from other mothers and see if I should press the issue more on my doctor or I should just not worry about it. Thank you for your answers :)

In college, I had a professor who owned several cats. He said he had taken in a kitten who externally appeared to be male, and also acted like a male. But when he took the kitten to a veterinarian, the vet told him that internally cat was actually a female.

I was wondering if anyone else had ever heard of that condition before, and if they had what would it be called.
