If money is no object, then a 1965 Shelby 427 S/C. 425 HP. Power to weight ... 5.95 to 1. The horsepower just drips from this car.
That ain't oil leaking, it's just the car marking it's territory.
2nd choice: 1966 Shelby GT 350S, the super charger was a 45 % additional horsepower bolt on, and at 447HP, this was the 2nd best power to weight ratio at 6.26 to one.
Nothing will appreciate in value, attract more conversations with interesting people, or best of all, give you a permanent case of "Can't wipe the smile off my face with a sledgehammer" like driving either of these.
