n = 19/30 + 13/15
Now apply a common denominator of 30 = 15*2:
n = 19/30 + (13*2)/(15*2)
= 19/30 + 26/30
= (19 + 26) / 30
= 45 / 30
Now factorise and cancel common factors:
= 3(15) / 2(15)
= 3/2.
