I was wondering what the requirements were for the follwoing... I know they may differ by state, but a general idea would be helpful =)

-Student teacher
-Teacher's assistant
are there any more opportunities to sit in on classrooms etc during early college years? and how would I go about doing that?

I was also wondering if you are given the choice as to where you would like go or if you're able to choose the teacher in which you'd like to be your mentor

Thank you for the help =)

I know this woman she is in her mid 20s with 5 kids (3 dads). She is a terrible role model for them as she was preg with her 1st at school and has never worked since, just scrounged off benefits popping out kids for a payrise every now and then. Her kids seem to always be at the hospital with something wrong. I am not saying that she beats them because she defo isnt but their accidents all seem to happen because she lets then run riot, too involved with herself to care if they are out playing an wonder miles from home or if they injure themselves round the house because of her carelessness? Social services have been called to her before but will the hospital have the authority to inform them if they think something is wrong?

When Catholics talk about the One True Church are they talking about only Roman Catholics or all churches that call themselves Catholic like the Eastern Catholic churches - reading a little bit about these churches reminds me of Protestant denominations

For example , I had a female student who came to my school from a larger city. She had a yellow belt and was 13 years old. She argued with me about everything. I broke her of that habit by having one of my smaller female students spar with her , took away her feeling of superiority almost immediately. She recently visited her hometown , and although she has now spent more time at my school than she ever did at her old school , she went back to arguing about everything I say. Not to mention that my small club has produced 3 national champions , I have been teaching since 1889 (longer than she has been born) and her "McDojo" in the city has students who could not fight their way out of a paper bag. (She was included here until I took over her training). I finally kicked her out when she recieved her green belt and argued with me over technique she had never seen before.

Give me your best or worst for 10 points.

People say islam was spread by the sword.

yet they can't provide proof of it, It is true that muslims fought for islam during the prophet's time but it was always self defense. NO one forced people to convert.

But why doesn't anyone say that democracy is being spread by the sword today.

Well because we don't use swords anymore.

democracy is being spread by the gun now a days.

If you believe that islam was spread by the sword, pease show me proof.

If you can prove it than isn't it the same thing today where democracy is being spread by the SWORD (GUN)..

When I was driving to school today, my brakes froze up for a minute. It was a very cold morning, and where they froze there was snow on the ground. When I pressed down on them, the pedal was hard and pressed back up on me, and the car wouldn't stop. This only lasted for a minute or so, and then my brakes worked normally. Does anyone know why this happened? I know I have to get my breaks checked out now, but will it be safe for me to drive home tonight?

My husband and I are planning on purchasing a Bullmastiff. We have 3 children, ages 3,4 & 13. We did a little research and what we read about this breed seems to be what we want in a dog. We had to give a Rottweiler to a rescue because of aggressive behavior towards us and the kids. I ordered him from a breeder from out of state and it was a big mistake. It was our second pup from him, the first pup died from parvo and this one was very aggressive. A lot of people tell us to get a Lab or Golden Retriever, but my husband has his heart set on a Bullmastiff. The information on them seems that they are a good dog with children, but then other people think we're crazy for wanting this kind of dog. I know any dog you really have to watch with children, but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with aggression with these type of dogs?
